i'll start this post by saying that i didn't take this picture - but i have fallen madly in love with it and also with this little girl. her daddy and my mr. are besties - through and through - they've recently talked about getting their own place together like they had in college and letting me and her momma come and visit on the weekends. all kidding aside - they'd totally do it.
when we moved back to wisconsin - and to green bay non the less - her daddy couldn't have been more excited - mike and adam were the best men in eachothers weddings and understand each other better than any two men i have ever met - of course - when we were 19 - and adam and i just started our relationship (i know, spring chickens) it sometimes caused conflict - ok - a lot of times - mike was already in a relationship with this cute little girls momma - and well - we were young. when adam and i moved to bloomington, indiana - they came to visit - mike came to visit - twice - when not many people did - because he loved adam - and he was ok with me :) then we moved to texas - he was on the first flight out - even with a new baby at home - because he loved adam - and that's what friends do.
when this little princess was born - adam in are were in the hellish part of figuring out what was going on with our unable to have a baby momma drama - and to be honest - it was hard - really hard - to hear about the trials and tribulations that they were going through with a new baby - so i kind of pulled away - i called but it was hard to hear - then we moved again - to wisconsin.
her mom and i are back on track, better than ever - she has introduced me to the greatest group of ladies (mom's) who love an accept me with or without kids - without this little girls momma in my life - my new home would not be what it is today - this little sugar is only a few miles away and i love her so much!! she has amazing parents and the best facial expressions that i have ever seen in a little girl - for her birthday this year we got her a cabbage patch doll and she loves her baby bonita (the name she came with) and she loves to play silly games, have parades around the house and she loves her dolls! it's so nice to have a little girl around since i have three nephews.
this is just another reason, why, sooner than expected, God puts you right where you belong - even if you don't think it's the right time or the right city or the right place.
I am one lucky lady!
